Dawn’s vision extends to the prestigious UK Caribbean Food Awards (UKCFA) which had its inaugural event at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London, on 30th October 2023. An initiative she launched and passionately oversees with her business partner. The very first of its kind, this grand event stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to recognising and celebrating the accomplishments of UK Caribbean food and drink entrepreneurs & businesses. Through the UKCFA platform, Dawn lends a voice to the community, fostering connections, supporting development and honouring excellence. Dawn’s journey from employment in Global Package Holidays, London’s 4/5 Star hotels, through to entrepreneurship in the catering industry has been marked by resilience, adaptability and continuous growth.
