Osaro is a dynamic Strategic Transformation Consultant and Motivational Speaker, celebrated for her ability to inspire change and deliver impactful results. With expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and personal and corporate branding, she has a proven track record of transforming organisations and empowering individuals to thrive.
Osaro has worked with some of the most influential organisations, including Spotify, the world’s leading universities, and national charities, helping them build inclusive communities, improve engagement, and implement innovative, measurable strategies.
From the age of 10, Osaro knew she was different. As a 6ft tall Black girl born with health challenges, she refused to let these barriers define her. Instead, they became the foundation for a series of groundbreaking achievements: the first Black woman elected president of her university students’ union in its nearly 100-year history (representing over 20,000 students), an England women’s basketball player, a European silver medallist, an Olympic torchbearer, a non-executive director of multiple boards, and an award-winning national charity leader. These experiences taught her one vital truth: our differences aren’t setbacks – they’re the key to unlocking extraordinary success.
A published research author and award-winning leader, Osaro has been recognised with the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Volunteering Award and inclusion on The Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For list.
Her work has taken her to Buckingham Palace for an audience with King Charles and Queen Camilla, and to the Houses of Parliament. She is the visionary behind Living Black at University, a groundbreaking report guiding higher education institutions to adopt inclusive practices.
From her own challenging lived experiences, Osaro founded Make Diversity Count, a social impact organisation dedicated to creating sustainable, inclusive, and innovative environments. Her passion for EDI and ESG is matched by her dedication to empowering others, from mentoring future leaders to supporting executives with personal branding and thought leadership.
Through her unique perspective and inspiring storytelling, Osaro helps organisations create inclusive spaces, supports individuals in embracing their authenticity, and champions diversity as a driver of innovation and success. Whether delivering keynotes, leading workshops, or mentoring individuals, Osaro’s sharp strategic insights leave audiences captivated and equipped with tools to drive change and take bold action.
